Ian Forbes Managing Partner, Europe
Key Focus Area. Helping our clients win their most important growth opportunities by supporting high-stakes major bids as a Strategic Bid Consultant. Ian facilitates the identification of truly differentiated messages and positioning, works to make the messages highly persuasive and memorable, and then coaches senior professionals to deliver an impactful document and an engaging oral presentation. This allows the core bid team to focus on critical resourcing issues, bid logistics, technical excellence of the bid, pricing, and both internal and external stakeholder management.
Credentials. With 25 years of experience in winning global pursuits, Ian brings a wealth of insight into the drivers of success for major bids. He has directly helped teams win bids worth more than £32 Billion over the past fifteen years in sectors as diverse as IT, Health, Architecture, Defence, Outsourcing, Banking, and Advertising. Over the past ten years, Ian’s bid success rate is better than three wins out of every four bids. |
Experience. Ian’s first career was as a Strategy and Account Director in advertising agencies working on major accounts such as BMW. Ian later become Head of Sales for KPMG’s Risk Consulting practice in the UK where he directly contributed to a doubling of sales in a two-year period. As Equity Partner and Head of Strategic Pursuits for Arcadis, a 28,000 employee Built Asset advisory firm, Ian implemented globally a new Go-To-Market approach and oversaw successful high value bids in Financial Services, Government, Oil and Gas, Telecoms, Energy, Rail, Road, Airports, Hospitals, and Water Infrastructure.
Track Record. Ian is the Managing Partner for the European region of The Artemis Partnership, and in the past two years has worked with teams from BAE Systems, KPMG, CallisonRTKL, Moody’s, Arcadis and others as their external bid advisor to help them win some of the world’s largest and most complex bids, and to drive sustainable organic sales growth. |
Bob Wiesner Managing Partner, The Americas
Key Focus Area. Developing senior teams to have better, more strategic conversations with client ‘C’ suite directors to uncover potential major business development opportunities, and helping teams deliver winning pitch presentations
Credentials. Based in New York, Bob brings extensive experience in new business pitching and pursuits. He has consulted on several billion dollars’ worth of pitches in the advertising, audit, management consulting, law, pharmaceuticals, high tech, and investment banking spaces. His clients regularly achieve win rates in excess of 60%. He has advised committees presenting Olympic bids, and clients have included BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA Chiat Day, Digitas, KPMG, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, Freeborn & Peters, American Express, Bank of America, Merck, Novartis, DuPont, HP, and Sun Microsystems. He has also worked with numerous start-ups. His work has taken him to Latin America, Europe, and Asia. |
Experience. Bob has extensive experience as a business leader. In 1994, Bob joined a boutique training and consulting firm called Rogen International later becoming CEO of North America. As a corporate executive, his roles have included marketing and business development, organizational development, and human resources. Bob holds a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University.

Graham Kean Managing Partner, Asia
Key Focus Area. Graham's career is characterised by leading growth within privately owned and listed companies. He specialises in the leadership of large complex bids, driving the development of win themes, key messages and engaging executive summaries that resonate with the C-suite of the client.
His hands-on delivery experience and high levels of client empathy developed through time spent working closely within industry market sectors brings a unique appreciation of the key issues critical to helping our clients to win in their markets. Credentials. Graham trained as an Engineer and has a career spanning 30 years in project and management consultancy working within the Infrastructure, Environment, Property and Housing sectors. He has held Board level positions for over 10 years and has worked in more than 15 countries. Currently resident in Hong Kong, he has experience working in most countries across South East Asia, India and Mainland China. A true specialist in helping organisations develop and implement winning processes as well as leading strategic pursuits. |
Experience. In the early 2000's Graham drove the growth of Mouchel's public sector property and housing business by leading the wins of a series of large scale outsourcing contracts. He was responsible for establishing the business pursuit strategy and then for the leadership, bidding, negotiation and mobilisation of these critical transformational partnering contracts. In 2005 he joined EC Harris LLP as Senior Partner responsible for all Public Sector Consulting, delivering a quadrupling of revenue in the following year. Subsequent roles included Global Head of Client Solutions, CEO for Asia and following the merger with Arcadis the Client Development Director for Arcadis in Asia.
Track Record. Graham is the Managing Partner for the Asia Pacific region of The Artemis Partnership, and is currently working on some of the biggest private sector developments in the region. |
Europe
Key Focus Area. Coaching C-suite executives to create a highly energised growth-orientated culture, and enabling senior sales leaders and other organisational leaders to inspire those around them to fully unlock profitable and sustainable growth potential. Credentials/Experience. Jonathan Bowman-Perks MBE is a Master Certified Coach (MCC), and author of several noted leadership books. He works with senior executives in the Corporate, Financial, Entrepreneurial and Professional Services sectors. Jonathan is a Visiting Professor in Leadership and Executive MBA lecturer at Cass Business School in London, and has delivered leadership programmes at University College London, Manchester Business School, and Les Roche International Management School Switzerland. He was Assistant to the Head of the British Army, Chief of Staff of the Army’s largest Brigade and commanded his Company on 3 operational tours. He was a leader in PwC, IBM and Penna PLC’s MD of Board and Executive Coaching. Jeremy brings consulting, coaching, training and enabling tech IT development capability with a mission focus to help clients maximise sustainable growth through joined up initiatives in marketing, account management, capture and pursuit. His focus is on creating momentum in business growth through creating and driving structured programmes of improvement that can be cascaded through the organisation.
Credentials/Experience. Jeremy is a capable business leader with a background in strategy, business development and communications. He brings deep experience in sales leadership, client management, bid leadership and management, service transformation, commercial business management and marketing. He understands how to shape propositions to market and to drive and influence business strategy and processes. Jeremy is a global accredited lecturer in bids and proposals with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. His experience as a senior business development and bid management professional includes key roles in the public and private sectors. Jeremy has led successful teams in sales and bid functions for global companies including Mace, Arcadis, EC Harris and Mouchel, and as a consultant has undertaken numerous high-profile projects, programmes and global frameworks with blue chip clients around the globe. John works to find innovative, creative ways of going to market, building winning pitches and helping teams establish and develop deeper client relationships. Credentials/Experience. John has over twenty-five years working with international TMT businesses, both in industry and as a consultant. His background is a combination of building successful professional services practices and designing strategies to take businesses into new markets. Before joining Artemis, John held senior roles with Hutchison Telecom and KPMG, where he was a Director. John holds a Bachelor of Accountancy and an MBA (London Business School) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Based in London, he has worked extensively in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. |

Elissa brings a psychologists perspective to winning pitches, by helping teams perform at their best when under pressure.
Credentials/Experience. Elissa has twenty-years consulting experience working with Fortune 500 companies and the Financial Services sector. Her background is a blend of coaching c-suite executives, designing and delivering development programmes, guest speaking at conferences and consulting on live deals. Elissa holds a BA Communication and a BSc (hons) Psychology. She is a certified Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI) coach, Zenger Folkman Extraordinary Leader and TetraMap practitioner. Based in London, she has worked across eighteen-countries and five continents. Prior to becoming a consultant, Elissa was a Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager based in Australia. She sets the strategic foundation to help clients confidently move their business forward. From strategy development to employee training and communications, Gail shows clients how to implement and manage their brand both internally and externally – delivering the strategic vision, ideas and distinguishing stories that create market advantage and drive growth.
Credentials/Experience. Gail brings 30 years of brand and marketing leadership for global clients and start-ups alike. One of the founding executives of Team One Advertising, she launched her career by helping create and launch the luxury automotive brand Lexus. Continuing in a series of “first-evers”, she then went to Saatchi & Saatchi/LA as VP Mgmt. Supervisor/Integrated Marketing, to lead the launch of Toyota’s first full-size truck and the development of their first generation youth sub-brand. After time as a Senior Strategist at Siegel & Gale/LA, she took on a new challenge as Co-Director/Brand Design at the global architecture and design firm, Gensler. There she helped double revenues for the practice area after year (2) two. Today, she consults with organizations helping them to tell their story and maximize their brand and employee assets to increase engagement and drive growth. Her 2nd career was running high-margin offices of global communications agencies, pitching and winning clients which include Southwest Airlines, McKinsey & Co, Starbucks and Target. Her 3rd career is helping companies achieve their growth targets. Maureen is also a writer so if desired, she can lend a hand - or rather a keystoke - to presentation content. |
Key Focus Area. Mark Felix helps leaders build more effective organizations and win business in competitive circumstances. Over the last twenty years, he has led organizations that helped clients drive performance through leadership, change implementation and sales execution. His background includes a blend of consulting and coaching experience with real world management experience across a number of verticals including Financial Services, Technology, Professional Services, Manufacturing and more.
Credentials/Experience. Mark has had operating experience running businesses in the professional services, medical services and technology industries. He served as global CEO of rogenSi, a leadership, change and sales performance consultancy, where he had global leadership responsibilities for driving the strategy and growth of the firm leading to a successful sale of the business. Mark led the Strategy and Leadership business for GP Strategies (GPX – a global consulting and learning organization) as well as held the position of Executive Vice President for Vital Signs, a medical products company. Key Focus Area. Jeffrey advises multi-national clients, agencies, NGOs and media enterprises on business development. He manages or helps finance early stage marketing ventures in alternative media, direct marketing and in-store communications.
Credentials. A 40-year leader and “Lifetime Achiever” in the marketing communications industry (Brandweek), Jeff has received numerous awards, including his induction to the Promotion Marketing Hall of Fame by the MAA Worldwide. Jeff became president of Einson-Freeman, Inc. at age 29, following his purchase of the company from AMEX-listed EAC. As President he led the build-up of the firm into a global enterprise serving many Fortune 500 clients, then sold the top-ranked Marketing agency to WPP Group in 1988. Jeff continued with Einson as Chairman/CEO for another 12 years while also heading two other WPP companies, Conquest USA and MGA Marketing. Among his clients were marketing giants such as American-Express, Bayer, Johnson & Johnson, Alcoa, Unilever, Sony, AT&T, Burger King, Kimberly-Clark, Gillette, Schering-Plough, Colgate-Palmolive, Amtrak, IBM, Pepsi-Cola, Kodak, Nestle, Kraft, CBS Television, Fiat, Audi and Weight Watchers. Following his 30 year agency career, Jeff became president of Satmark Media Group, a start-up new media firm that launched the first national ATM advertising network, now owned by Bank of America. Credentials/Experience. Tamara brings over 25 years of experience working with clients to reach their potential. As a leader at Capgemini’s Strategy & Transformation practice (formerly Capgemini Ernst & Young and Gemini Consulting), Tamara was responsible for driving growth for both Capgemini and the clients she served. Her consulting experience expanded while at Korn Consulting Group where she provided executive coaching, designed and led client strategy workshops and provided training design and delivery for Fortune 100 global organizations. Subsequent to her formal consulting years, Tamara joined Goldman Sachs where she leveraged her sales and consulting background to lead the global strategy and implementation of Business Standards across the Securities Division aimed at re-building trust with its customers. She also re-designed the sales training program for both Equities and FICC. Tamara holds an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business with a major in Finance and Management. She is certified as a Six Sigma Greenbelt and in MBTI (Meyers Briggs) and HBDI (Hermann Brain) diagnostics. |

As the Wunderman Network’s first ever Global CMO, Trish led the creation of a global new business practice and marshaled global new business resources to successfully win enterprise level global clients including Nokia, Novartis, Dell and Microsoft expansion. Trish is a sought-after speaker and has keynoted conferences and events around the world, including the WARC Conference and the Cannes Festival of Creativity (3x), among others. |
