What we are proud of. The Manchester Provider Board submitted a successful bid to create what will be called Manchester Local Care Organisation (LCO). In 2018 this new entity will manage and coordinate all the parts of health and social care which are not delivered by hospitals.
It will play a leading role in improving the way services and support are delivered through community-based health, primary and social care services – and better integrating those services with the vital voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.
The Artemis Partnership worked directly with the Bid Leader helping to make an extremely complex, multi-faceted offer understandable and compelling to the decision makers. The success of this bid has the potential to improve standards of living and life expectancy amongst the people of Manchester.
Michael McCourt, Chief Executive for Manchester Providers
“We know you made a big, big difference to the bid, and the team and I are very grateful.”
